Brand new In-Studio Workshop:
the art of posing
Posing is hard when you only know poses.
Working with real people requires more.
march 13-14, 2025
Bonita Springs, FL USA
immersive, 2-day in-person workshop
that blends clear technique, direction, and psychology behind posing real people, so you can guide them with confidence and create studio portraits that are intentional and alive.
WHY THIS WORKSHOP. WHY NOW.
Most posing advice is built on working with models, not real people.
That’s why many photographers copy what a pose looks like but lack understanding why it works.
This workshop finally flips the switch.
During this intensive, hands-on training, you’ll understand both the structure and the human behind it, so posing stops being guesswork and becomes a high-value skill you can rely on in any session.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
During our time together, you’ll learn a complete posing system for individuals and small groups, with clear guidance you can use in any session.
You’ll have plenty of dedicated shooting time to practice everything hands-on, get direct feedback, and build images that elevate your portfolio.
By the end, you’ll walk away with a method you can trust — and work that attracts the right clients to you.
THIS IN-PERSON WORKSHOP IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF:
You feel lost and overwhelmed posing people, and your clients look uncomfortable, no matter how hard you try.
Your portraits feel “flat, missing the emotion, presence, and connection you want them to have.
You’re looking for a clear, consistent way of posing so your work begins to look cohesive, intentional, and elevated across your brand.
AFTER THE WORKSHOP, YOU WILL:
• Direct your sessions without freezing, guessing, or running out of ideas.
• Create images with intention and real expression, not just “pretty poses.”
• Lead every shoot with control and confidence, so clients trust your process and expertise.

Why is it best to learn posing In Person? —
Don’t get us wrong — online learning is excellent.
But posing is a skill that is learned best in the room.
…
Hands-on practice and guidance are irreplaceable
You get immediate corrections, real-time feedback, and the chance to understand adjustments as they happen.
Live demos show you what the camera doesn’t
You see the timing, the decisions, the micro-movements, and how real people respond — things that can be difficult to catch through a screen.
Working alongside your peers sharpens your skills
You learn faster by observing others, asking questions, and sharing the process — plus you build meaningful industry connections.
You leave more confident and inspired
You walk away equipped with new skills, practical tools, and a level of clarity that only comes from learning in person.
How we’ll spend these 2 days
Over these two days, we’ll share the foundations of posing real people — the principles, the psychology, and the technical execution behind positioning, angles, lines, and expression.
You’ll learn how to guide men and women in a way that builds natural variety into your sessions — creating expressions that feel believable, and never look forced.
